Client Review of Riu Santa Fe in Los Cabos Mexico

Hi Nora!

I think I can speak for the group in letting you know that we had a most incredible time!

The facility was great, perfectly manicured at all times.  Staff was super friendly, accommodating and ALWAYS willing to go beyond to make sure their guests were taken care of & happy!

The buffets were always fresh, continually stocked and offered a GREAT selection of offerings, making sure to accommodate every appetite (from simple to exotic).  Reservations were available for the restaurants, of which, we went Asian …. One small criticism to note regarding this restaurant, is that none of us felt all that great afterwards.  As a result, we decided to stick with the buffet —- we liked the vast offerings and liked the ability to pick exactly what we wanted.

The room was very clean, had ample storage for our “stuff” and a roomy full bath with dual sinks .  The gal taking care of our room was very polite, was super honest (let me know that we had left our room safe open), and made sure our room was ready before we returned from the pool every day.  One criticism was the size of the beds — they were double, not queen-sized.  I’m not sure if that’s the standard size, but it came as a bit of a shock when we saw them for the first time.  Beyond that … they were really hard.   We had a nice patio outside our room, which was nice to be able to sit outside anytime we were in our room.   The other gals experienced power issues in their room.  Beyond those things, the rooms were fine and suited our purposes!

There were plenty of activities to participate in, horseback riding, sand volleyball, places to go & of course, shopping …. At the flea market, to the numerous retail stores, to bartering on the beach.   And our particular favorite …. Hanging in the pool, people-watching and mostly, meeting some really great people from all over the globe.

Evenings were spent either hanging out in the “on-campus” facilities, or taking taxis downtown and dancing in the tourist bars like Cabo Wabo.

We walked up the beach one day to have lunch (fresh guacamole tableside … so good), and to see what was going on up the shoreline.

For couples looking for destination wedding locales …. We observed 2 weddings (from poolside) on the beach below us (although we know there were at least 2 others during our stay).  Super romantic and a FANTASTIC back drop (just make sure the Carnival Cruise Ship isn’t blocking the view)!!  J

We had great weather, came home with great tans & lighter hair, & sore abdominal muscles (non-stop laughing with this group of ladies … whew …)!!

Thank-you for all of your help coordinating everything ~ this experience was one in a million  …. Truly fantastic from start-to-finish!!

Many, many thanks ~

The Fab 5  J
