Hi Amber,

We had a fantastic trip to Cancun!  I would highly recommend the Fiesta Americana Grand Coral.  The hotel, pool and beach were beautiful…Postcard perfect!  You are never sure if the real thing is going to look like the pictures, but this hotel exceeded my expectations.  The service was also top notch.  The entire staff makes sure you are taken care of at all times.  Staying on Club level made it feel as if they had rolled out the red carpet for us.  We were greeted at the front door, by name, upon arrival and ushered right up to Club level for check in.  The only thing that could have made the stay better would be a suite with a separate bedroom.  Unfortunately, this hotel does not offer a room like that, but, regardless, the room worked great for us and the view could not be beat.  They actually did not have a roll away for our daughter, but they made the couch up as a bed, and she was very comfortable…no complaints there.  We also did not have any of the Spring Break craziness at this hotel.  It was walking distance from the strip, but the hotel was very quiet and family oriented.

The Dolphin swim was also fantastic and couldn’t have been more convenient to our hotel.  We walked over to Dreams for the tour.  We ended up getting the package which included the dorsal fin ride instead of the foot push, but we have no complaints.  We loved every minute of it.

The only drawback that we encountered was going through the local companies for tours instead of using the concierge in the hotel.  Companies such as Lomas are not readily available at the hotel.  You can only meet with them by appointment, which can really throw a kink in your schedule for the day, and they are difficult to reach by phone when you do not have an international calling plan on your cell phone.  In the future, I will probably book through the hotel concierge.  We went through the hotel for two of the three tours we went on.  I did find that it is a little more expensive to utilize the hotel, but the convenience of having the concierge at your disposal at any time is worth the extra cost.

Thanks again for all of your help in booking this trip.  We had a wonderful time!

Kelli
