I am a Minnesota girl who apparently read too much as a kid. As a result, I knew there was so much to see and do out there. The moment I graduated high school (Lindstrom, MN) I went out exploring the world…I have not stopped not since.
My very first trip was actually to Washington DC for National History Day (Yes, I am a nerd.) I knew I needed to go further, so I became an exchange student at 18 and lived in Sweden for a year. (Jag kan pratta Svenska!) During my stay I was able to visit Denmark, Russia, Finland, France and Spain. I was smitten with Europe and there was simply no turning back.
This passion for seeing and learning about that great big wonderful world out there is infectious … I want everyone to have these opportunities!
For the past 17+ years, I have specialized in group travel. I have brought marching bands to London, choirs to Ireland, Spanish students to Puerto Rico, wine lovers to Italy and community education groups to New York City, just to name a few. I find a deep satisfaction in being a part of the travel planning process that allows students and explorers of all ages to see the world.
Over these years I have been to so many amazing places, but I have to stay the one that stands out most has to be Greece. As a lover of history I was beside myself seeing and sometimes even touching the ancients treasures. And the sea … truly a color of blue I had never seen before and I have never seen since. It was incredible. Greece is a place I could visit over and over … and still experience something new each time.
My hope is that anyone who wants to reach higher and travel further will have the opportunities my travel groups and I have experienced. Let me know how I can help you reach your travel dreams. Happy travels!
