DEEM FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. How do I become a New User?
To create set up a new user, click the following link: https://cityofminneapolis.deem.com. Select “Create a new Account”. When the new user selects create a new account the registration is in real time and the new user will be able to activate their account immediately and complete their profile.

Or the new user can access it via the website https://tvlleaders.com/city-of-minneapolis. Click on Book Online, select create a new account.

The new user will receive an email from Deem to activate their profile with a secured user name and password. Approved domains are set in place to provide security measures for the State of Minnesota. An employee will not have access to become a Deem user if they use a personal domain or a non-approved domain.

2. How do I update my Account Profile information?
After logging into your account, hover your pointer over the settings icon and select Account from the list. Once on the Account page, you can edit any information with a blue Add/Edit button or any information with a blue link.

3. How do I update an Account Profile if I am the travel arranger?
After logging into your account, hover your pointer over the people icon (Start Assisting) in the upper right corner. Click the traveler whose profile you need to edit. Hover your pointer over the settings icon and select Account from the list. Once on the Account page, you can edit any information with a blue Add/Edit button or any information with blue ink.

4. What if I don’t travel myself but book travel for others?
Travel planners will need to create a profile through the online booking tool in order to access other profiles if booking online, or when speaking with an agent to identify yourself as a State of MN Employee. For assistance call 763-231-8873 or businesstravel@tvlleaders.com

5. How do I add myself as a delegate to a traveler’s profile?
Log in to your account, hover your pointer over the settings icon and select Account from the list. Once on the Account page, click on the delegate tab which takes you to the delegate access page. Under “people I can book travel for” click on become a delegate. Type in the traveler’s name, click search, choose the traveler and save.

6. I booked a trip through Travel Leaders and need to make a change to this trip?
Bookings made with an agent must be changed by contacting an agent.

*Partial changes to ticketed air reservations must be made by contacting an agent
*Full changes to ticketed air reservations must be made by contacting an agent

7. How do I delete a profile?
Due to security measures, it is required for Travel Leaders to access and delete a profile from Deem. Please notify Zoey Binger or Carrie Hanrahan if an employee is no longer with the State of Minnesota to keep records up to date and accurate
