There is something especially rewarding about helping a group turn a Disney trip from an idea into an actual vacation! I had so much fun helping Jason and Collin Matheson, the Two Fairy Godfathers, bring their Walt Disney World group trip to life, and even more fun getting to be there and experience it alongside everyone.
What made this trip so special was watching the group quickly go from strangers to new best friends!
Behind the scenes, I helped coordinate Disney resort reservations, park tickets, rooming needs, deadlines, and all the little details that go into organizing a group trip. Once we arrived, I was happy to be there to oversee the logistics and jump in whenever a few minor hiccups or unexpected details came up.
Having someone there to handle those details meant Jason and Collin could continue doing what they do best: being the fun, gracious hosts they are and enjoying the trip right alongside everyone else.
Group trips definitely have more moving parts, but getting to be there and watch everything come together made all the behind-the-scenes work so worth it. I loved being part of this group and seeing a bunch of strangers turn into such a fun group of friends!
And this won’t be the last Two Fairy Godfathers adventure! Jason and Collin are already talking about future group trips, so keep an eye on our socials and theirs to see what’s coming next. A Disney cruise in the spring may even be in the works!
