You’ll find a distinct sense of place, with panoramic views of the desert and high mountain landscape. The resort’s Adventure Center provides a range of outdoor activities, including hiking, mountain biking, Jeep tours and whitewater rafting. When you’re ready for some relaxation and rejuvenation, the spa menu offers a diverse selection of treatments that combine native traditions with the latest progressive techniques.  

Rising majestically above the 600-acre beachfront, Jade Mountain Resort, on St. Lucia’s southwestern Caribbean coast, is designed to be in harmony with the island’s stunning natural beauty. Individual bridges lead to infinity pool sanctuaries, with each one offering an unparalleled view of the Pitons, two mountainous volcanic spires that are recognized as a World Heritage Site. You can expect grand, sweeping spaces in which the bedroom, living area and infinity pool form an extraordinary platform that brings you close to nature.  

High up on the Dominican Republic’s Atlantic-facing north coast, Amanera is surrounded by pristine jungle and backed by a dramatic mountain range. The resort lies alongside the spectacular clifftop fairways of the Playa Grande Golf Course, originally created by golfing legend Robert Trent Jones Sr. and recently updated. Perched atop 60-foot cliffs at the western end of Playa Grande beach, the resort offers extensive dining, spa and recreational facilities. Each of the one-bedroom freestanding cottages is reached via a winding pathway through a private garden and features ocean views from an expansive terrace.
