Visit Raglan Road Irish Pub in Disney Springs

This was my first time at Raglan Road located at Disney Springs. This is an Irish Pub with fantastic, authentic Irish cuisine. When we arrived, we had to check in for our reservation online. Disney is taking great strides to social distance, and encouraging guests to interact through technology is setting the new standard.

Once checked in, we were escorted to our table. Quick tip—always request a table near the stage! If you like to be entertained, this is where you want to be!

Our waitress was great! I ordered a Magner’s Pear Cider, it was yummy! We were entertained throughout our entire meal by dancers and musicians. What a hoot! All entertainment was Irish style.  We ordered a couple appetizers to split and it was the perfect amount of food for us.  We enjoyed the  Whiskey BBQ Lollipop Chicken and Kiss Before Shrimp.

The menu was electronic, found by a QR code, and if you have never used a QR code before, you turn your camera on, point it at the code displayed on a little placard on your table and your phone prompts you to open that particular website. What it opens to is THE MENU .. Amazing!  This was our first restaurant like this here at Walt Disney World, so we thought it was pretty cool! The menu pops up on your phone then, and you can see everything to order. We still ordered the food with our waitress, but seeing this new process was fun.

Our meal was served with Irish soda bread with Guinness reduction. It was so good, we went to the gift shop after to buy the Guinness Reduction sauce. Turns out this gift shop is the only place you can buy it and take home (cannot even order it online). I love little exclusives like that!

If you like Irish food, or even if you just like to be entertained (I believe there is a burger and fries option on the menu for those that are not fond of authentic Irish food) you should give this restaurant a try!
