Disney Dream ~ A Client’s Review
It was our first family trip that required an airplane (and a boat) and it’s crazy to say that even though the 5 of us spent a week together non-stop, it was the most relaxing vacation I have ever had. Everything went smoothly and we didn’t encounter any problems at all. The weather in FL could have been warmer so we weren’t totally prepared for that but overall the Port Orleans Riverside was nice.
I was very pleased with Disney Dream and the two days at Castaway. My 8 year old daughter was too terrified to enjoy the stingray adventure but my 10 and 6 year old loved it as did I. That was the only excursion we did on the island. We spent hours swimming and relaxing on the beach in the perfect weather.

The kids didn’t spend any time in the Oceaneers club onboard so we don’t have much experience with that or the “adult” activities on board since the kids were always with us. We found plenty to keep us busy!
One thing I was very surprised and thankful for, was the cleanliness of the ship. Attendants were ALWAYS cleaning the bathrooms and handing out wipes at every station on the ship. Thankfully none of us got sick at all like usually happens on vacations where you’re around a lot of people.
The photo package was also worth it in my opinion. We ended up with like 80 professional photos and I purchased the disc so we’ll have plenty of family pictures to scrapbook and hang on the wall. Also – so glad we flew in a day early. That evening is when the snowstorm hit MN and flights were delayed. Great idea to leave that leeway in the schedule.
It was an AMAZING vacation and I so thank you for all your help!
